I thought some of you just might be impressed that I am blogging again so soon! Well, don't be too impressed! I'm blogging to avoid cleaning my house and doing laundry! At least I'm honest, right???

I need a cleaning lady!!! Is anyone out there good at organizing, throwing out other people's junk, and keeping someone with ADD focused??? Is so, why don't you come on over?? I would trade pictures for cleaning/organizing help!! : ) I'm serious! I'd just be embarrassed to let you see all of my piles...of papers and clothes! Man, I am a Pack Rat! ANd I just have too many hobbies...who has time to organize when there are all of these fun projects (sewing, pictures, painting, decorating, volleyball, & shopping to name a few) calling my name???

I have so many images to share...I just have to be careful of what I put on the blog...I try not to use pictures that might be used on Christmas cards! so, I don't always get to share my favorites : )

Oh, I almost forgot. I got an account on Facebook...well it was over a year ago. I still am not quite sure about the whole deal...it's a little confusing to me. Anyway, if you're on there add me as a friend... I might figure it all out someday!

Bretters was sick this weekend and stayed home with me yesterday! He decided to "work on" his Christmas List for Santa! He added 23 items to the 200 items he had listed last week... for those of you who don't know Brett, he is way laid back, tons of fun...the comedian of the family! You just never know what he is going to say!

Well, he brought the list to me and it took everyhting I had not to bust up laughing... let me just share a few of the items listed... I will use his spelling

And then there is Bart, Mr. Serious! He found out "The Secret" about Santa about 2 years ago. So, the other day we were talking about somthing and I "threatened" him with getting in trouble...I can't remember the details but I do know he threatened back with this...

"You know, I can 'SPILL IT' at ANYTIME!" Of course, he was refering to telling Brett and Abbie "The Secret"! Oh that boy...he is stubborn!

And then there is SASSAFRASS! I don't htink we even need a list for her...she wants EVERYTHING she sees... at least you can buy her some cheap stuff and she'll be happy :) Did I just say "happy", well, I don't know if I could go that far...at least it might keep her from screaming for a while :)

I think it has been a while since I gave the "Warning" that I CAN'T type, spell and that grammer isn't my thing...and I'm always in a hurry when I'm typing this blog...so pelase ignore all of my mistakes :) I do change the mistakes I notice...but if I'm done and I notice...well, you're just out of luck! My mind goes far faster than my fingers! So, here is my apology for all of the mistakes on the blog... SORRY ; ) Hope you'll read anyway!

Just couldn't resist sharing this picture taken on my big shopping trip yesterday! I went on a bus trip to St. Louis with Rachel Short, Tammi Kull , Sister Suey and a whole bus full of sweet girls!

We left Shelbyville at 6:00am Thursday and returned at 12:30am (last night)! We hit three big malls, West County Mall, Chesterfield Mall and St. Louis MIlls. Now, I am a shopper but I was exhausted by 9:30 when we got on the bus!

This is a picture Rachel took of me pushing Tammi in St. Louis Mills. I had been wanting a stoller all day...to carry my bags....but Tammi decided I needed to use it to relieve her aching feet!!! First of all, I had to sneak it out of Old Navy, and Tammi wanted nothing to do with that, but boy was she all about it once I was out and down the hall a little :) One man was laughing at us and she said to him " This IS our THIRD mall today!" Like that made it all OK...

Oh that reminds me of another funny story...at the Chesterfield Mall I was really wanting a shopping cart, so I asked an employee at Old Navy if I could borrow one if I brought it back. He said "no" in a not so friendly tone! So, then I offered to leave money with him that I could collect upon returning the cart. He said "no" and added that it was "not insured outside of the store". So, in desperation, I say, using my hands to make quote signs "What if I 'accidentally walk out' with it?" As he is walking away, he turns to me and Tammi and says "Well then, I will 'accidentally call security'!" He was just a TAD bit rude...and I don't like that, so Tammi and I giggled and I said "Come on, let's go to abercrombie!" Seeing as how I had already made my purchase, I guess I really didn't "show him" but boy I wasn't happy! I'll tell you, a 20 year old boy just doesn't understand how difficult and stressful and painful shopping and carrying all your bags is on a 34 year old mom... who is wearing uncomfortable shoes!

We sure had a fun day! And I think Darren is happy that I didn't spend too much money!!! I'm already looking forward to next year! I think I will take a stroller to carry my bags...without a child in it of course! I have been know to do that :)

Yes, the decluttering show has inspired me to do just that...DECLUTTER!

So, I have a few things for sale! I have been wanting to sell stuff on ebay but I am a big chicken, so I thought I should try my blog first!

This first item is an adorable little pink play kitchen It is a Kidcraft Retro Kitchen...and it comes with a bonus of play food and dishes!! It is still in very good condition...Abbie has had it almost 2 years. She has decided it is too little for her!

Ok, I can't believe I am parting with some of these Longaberger baskets but honestly, I think I have too many (way over 100)...don't tell Darren I admitted that! He has been waiting to hear those words for a long time :)

I have about 30 baskets that I am wanting to sell. I need to get a list together of all of them. I will sell the entire group for a nice price or I can sell them individually! If you want a detailed list, let me know!

And I have several backdrops to sell...most are 12' x20' . I have the ones shown here...blue, pink/lavendar, white, cream, black, and a couple of senic ones. I would sell several together or individually! Send me an offer!

And then this awesome antique sofa... I bought it at Jake's a couple of years ago for the studio. I just don't have anywhere for it right now!

Well, if I can sell all of these "treasures", I will be well on my way to decluttering my house! I have already donated several bags of my clothes and Darren's clothes! And I have passed on a BIG pile of Abbie's clothes to friends! Wouldn't Oprah & Peter be proud?? Oh yeah, the show airs today! Don't forget to tune in!

Yes, I will be making my National TV debut on Wednesday, Nov. 12th on the Oprah Winfrey Show... Now, don't I sound important??? Seriously, I did get a call to attend a taping of the Oprah show, so on October 29th, I took Granny Lois, Joni & Rachel with me to Chicago to be in the audience of the show! We were so excited!

So, we get there and wait and wait, all the while watching clips from Oprah's favorite things shows and shows with Tina Turner and Tom Cruise...and we're thinking, OH Yes, we're gonna get something FREE or see a big celebrity...then when we walk in to the studio, there are 4 VW bugs on the stage...and we're thinking "we're getting a car"...well....

We did NOT get a car...adn as Granny Lois said "We didn't even get a FREE book!"

Our show was called "Oprah's Clean Up your Messy House Tour"! It was about decluttering...perfect for me...I actually thought Darren may have sent my name in to be on this specific show! So, we did get to see Peter Walsh, TLC's Clean Sweep and Candice Olson from TLC's Devine Design.

It was a neat experience and cool to see Oprah live and in person but I think we had our hopes way too high! I would go again if the opportunity came...I would just know not to get soooo excited! The biggest let down for me was that Oprah didn't really acknowledge the audience...and of course I had high hopes of meeting her! Poeple had flown in form Itlay, Australia, Montana, from all over...and I would have been sooo upset had I spent that kind of money to be there!

One of the women we met while waiting for the show was from Montana. After the show was over, she came up to me and grabbed my arm and said "We had more fun meeting you than seeing Oprah!" Now that was sweet of her to say, but it sure made me feel badly for her...obviously she was dissappointed, too!

So watch the show Wednesday and see if you can catch a glimpse of us! I am wearing a dark pink sweater...doubt you'll see us but who knows!

And I still love Oprah...and if you are a big Oprah fan...keep on calling or check www.oprah.com for info on audience reservations! I got tickets by filling out a form for audience reservations under Be on the Show!

Christmas Cards! I LOVE making, sending and RECEIVING Christmas Cards!

Several people have asked about having Christmas Cards made using images from their sessions! Yes, I do offer Christmas Cards! Here are a few samples of Christmas cards from last year!

Cards are available in several sizes. 4.5x5, 5x5, 5x7....all sizes have the option of being a flat front/back only (postcard style designed on two sides, like this first card sample), or folded cards (traditional...all four sides designed),. There are a few unique options...a 5x5 trifold or a wide format 5x7 that opens open to 5x14 on the inside...it is really cool!

If you have had a session this year and are interested in having custom Christmas Cards using your images, send me an e-mail! I will send you the details and pricing info! I'm so excited about the Matilda Jane Show tonight!

I am hosting a "traveling trunk" show, so I have the clothes already and I have been drooling over everything since I picked it up yesterday! I have a piece of each item in the West Side Collection, so you can actually feel the material and look at everything close up! It also helps to see the sizing...and let me warn you...when you see this amazing clothing you will not be able to resist! I wish I could wear all of it myself!

I had two sessions last night in Herrick and we used Abbie's old Matilda Jane outfit. Isn't it sooo adorable on Ella?

Abbie is excited, too! Here she is going through everything...picking out what she wants...which seems to be everything she sees!

Here are a few snapshots from Homecoming. Abbie got invited down to get her nails and make-up done with Krisitin...she LOVED it! I have amazing neighbors! They are all so wonderful to my children :)

Today was Grandparents Day for Main St. School & Kinderagrten Center! Jim Gill was there to give a "concert" for the families! We love Jim Gill...he is so fun and gets the kids dancing & singing! Doing the "Silly Dance Contest"...Brett loves it...you get to dance anyway you want to and Stop when he says Freeze...then he looks for the silliest poses...and as you can imagine there were plenty of crazy poses in the audience!

And Noah trying to say "Toy Boat" three times...not too easy! Mrs. Bence even attempted saying it three times in a row! I think it is fair to say that Jim had everyone involved...singing, smiling & dancing...and that everyone had a GREAT time!

Wow! What a busy weekend...I'm exhausted!

I'm so excited to be posting some of Morgan's proofs! She is so gorgeous and sooo funny! We had a blast during her first session...excpet for the mosquito's attacking us!

I'll try to post again tomorrow with some other new images! I subbed at the high school three days last week and LOVED it! However, now I am a tad behind with my pictures, laundry and housekeeping...but I guess that is no different than usual :)

Just look at those legs...I'm jealous...wouldn't it be nice to have long legs for just one day?

I love her smile...she laughed the entire session, so I was able to get several shots with a real smile :)
